AEA Chapters
Local AEA Chapter Development
The Army Engineer Association is working to establish a network of local AEA Chapters in various locations.
These individual chapters will serve as an information conduit for getting information and ideas out to the entire Army Engineer Community.
Setting up new chapters.
In order to start setting these up, we need volunteers to help establish and operate these local chapters.
Chapter in a box.
The AEA is currently developing a “Chapter Kit” which will make it easier to establish and operate a chapter.
Some of the items may include the following:
- Packet of SOP that guiides each proposed chapter step by step helping to fully develop a chapter.
- Funding for initial startup costs.
- Initial startup materials.
- Help identifying local AEA members in the area in order to reach out to get them involved in the chapter.
- Help linking the new chapters with others increasing cross talk on lessons learned.
- Provide ideas for funding opportunities such as an AEA portable store, 5k runs, local sponsorships and more.
Chapter kit contents can vary from above. Once the Chapter Kit is completed and vetted through a legal review, we will start the process of sending them out to the volunteers and work with them to establish the local chapters.
