The Army Engineer Association’s educational support program has become a cornerstone for advancing the skills and knowledge of Engineer Regiment members.  Through the sponsorship of Trimble—a leading provider of advanced positioning solutions—both the Hobson STEM Scholarship and our Educational Support Scholarship are empowering our members on their educational journey

STEM Scholarship

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Current AEA member or a family member 
  • Full-time STEM undergrade at an accredited university or college 
  • For tuition, books, and fees for accredited degree programs, certifications, and technical skill training.
  • Completed application submited by 1 June and notification in May.

AEA Educational Support Scholarship​

  • Current AEA Members:
    -Commissioned Officers: 2LT, 1LT, CPT and MAJ
    -Warrant Officer: WO1, CW2 and CW3
    -Enlisted: SPC, CPL, SGT, SSG and SFC.
    -Department of Army Civilian Employees: GS1 thru GS12.
    -Spouses or children of AEA members.
  •  Awards will be based primarily upon the merit of the applicant, coupled with the potential for academic success and standards of conduct as supported by personal references. Equal opportunity is applied to each applicant during the selection process.
  • For tuition, books, and fees for accredited degree programs, certifications, and technical skill training.
  • Completed application submited by 1 June and notification in July.
