AEA Industry Exhibition at Engineer Regimental Week
Engineer Regimental Week is 8-12 April 2019 at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. This special event includes several special events:
- The AEA Industry Exhibition is an excellent opportunity for Leaders of Industry to display their equipment and provide information on how it supports Engineer Operations to senior Engineer Leaders and the Maneuver Support Center Capability Development Integration Directorate (CDID).
- The Best Sapper competition is a grueling 50-hour event challenging unit teams on engineer skills and endurance.
- The Fallen Engineer Tribute will honor Engineer Soldiers who gave the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our Nation.
- Culminating Engineer Regimental Week is the Regimental awards for excellence presented at the Regimental Ball on 12 April. These awards recognize the best Engineer Soldiers, Civilians, NCO’s, Warrant Officers and Lieutenants of all components of the United States Army Engineer Regiment.

AEA Industry Seminar
The Army Engineer Association (AEA) is proud to announce our annual Army Engineer/Industry Seminar, “Army Engineers and Industry moving forward together”. AEA will conduct this as a full-day, dual-track industry program—at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City on Thursday, 1 Aug 2019. Invited Speakers include ASA R.D James, (Civil Works) GEN John M Murray, CDR, Army Future Command and MG Paul Pardew, CDR, Army Contracting Command
The Construction and Infrastructure Track will be focused on the NDAA 2019 update on progress for the $1 Trillion of infrastructure program. Topics will include Military Installations design, construction, operations and maintenance, environmental restoration, energy management, and a wide variety of other specialties. Invited Senior Speakers include: LTG Todd Semonite, the Chief of Engineers.
The Combat Engineering will be focused on U.S. Army Engineer School proponent requirements and potential solutions. Topics include mine/countermine, military bridging, construction equipment, engineer combat vehicles and geospatial systems.
151st Engineer Castle Ball
The Army Engineer Association will host 151th Annual U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Castle Ball on 2 August 2018. We are currently in discussion with The Hyatt Regency Crystal City to host this event. The event will be focused on the U. S. Army Engineer Regiment and will include presentation of the 2019 Gold Order of the De Fleury medal presentation as well as other USACE Awards for excellence.
The military portion of the program will be conducted by Headquarters, USACE and will feature the LTG Semonite, 54th Chief of Engineers. Most of the USACE Senior Leaders as will be in attendance. AEA will arrange the VIP sponsor seating and meal selections. A separate notice for meals and additional details will come out in a May 2019 after menu options are reviewed.
